[opensuse] Updater error in panel
11.0 x86 64 with kde4. Now when i login, i see a yellow exclamation on zypp (i think it is zypp...whatevere the upadter is on the panel by the clock) and when i hover my mouse over it i get this error: error: failed to mount cd:///?devices=/dev/sr0 on /var/tmp/AP_0x00000002: mounting media failed (mount": only root can do that). I am not logged in as root when i see this and in fact, have not tried to login as root. This worked in the past when logged in as a user and i would just enter root's password and update. Is this a bug or what? How do i fix it? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes. I also took it out and still get the same error Well, here is another thing that is very annoying with 11 kde4: when you insert something, in this case it is a cd/dvd, you MUST open it (i use the new device notification). I discovered this with my ipod, gpodder and gtkpod will not see the ipod unless i open it and view the contents!! Is this another "thing" with kde4 or is this something i can fix?
