We are tuning our NFS performance for Suse 9.1. I remember on Irix/Mac etc. there is an option to change the number of nfsiod threads running on a client. Is there an equivalent tuneable parameter on the client side for Suse 9.1? I've searched /etc/sysconfig and /etc/init.d scripts to see if I can find any sign of how to tune this .. but to no avail thus far. I don't know about nfsiod threads. I suggest you check http://nfs.sourceforge.net/ -- Regards, Graham Smith
