[SLE] Linux Cluster under SuSE 6.4 / 7.0
Dear all, I need to know if it's possible to setup a cluster under SuSE 6.4 or 7.0 and how. Any advice on this matter will be much appreciated. Sure! What kind of cluster are you talking about? HA (High Availability) or High Performance aka Beowulf? For the latter, check out the package series "beo", especially the SALT-Package. Yes, I run a Beowulf using a mix of SuSE 6.3 and 7.0 right now.
Any advice on this matter will be much appreciated.
My advice would be to join my Beowulf Newbie list. It's for people wanting to learn and build small 'wulfs. To join do this: email to: majordomo@fecundswamp.net then in the body: subscribe beowulf-newbie
Best regards,
Martin
