HI: After updating to KDE 2.2 beta 1, my login splash shows all the directories. I went to /opt/kde2/share/config/kdmrc and edited it to show only the reevant users but it had no efect. What then is the login manager configuration script. I searched the SDB, SuSE,s htdig help system and /usr/share/docs but found nothing. -- Cheers, Jonathan

You should be able to fix that problem by going into Control Center, then System, then Login Manager, and then clicking "Modify." Now enter your root password, then Users, and then place the users you want to see in the Selected Users box, and make sure the radio button for "Show Users" "Selected Only" is selected. Thanks so much Tim. That will do the trick.

Hello Jonathan,
Control Center > System > Login Manager
Set your desired users and make sure you click on the "Selected only" radio button in the "Show Users" frame. The default was
"all but no-show"
Hope this helps,
Ed
