Yes, it has been announced here: https://news.opensuse.org/2018/05/25/based-on-enterprise-code-tested-million... With some translations available. I missed an announcement on the mailing lists too. I think "announce" lists are always read only except for admins and there was a very long discussion, not so long ago, about the future of this list as commented by Richard Brown. jdd -- http://dodin.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

It is how it is implemented in mlmmj, the mailing list manager software. "moderation" is the process applied when someone isn't permitted to subscribe or post to a list, regardless of why. I looked at the web page and it claims that the opensuse list is for "Generic questions and User to User support for all the openSUSE distributions". Would you clarify what the "specific" topic refers to. If the topic is just the subject, I realize that posing this question has nothing to do with availability of Leap 15 and may be off topic. Yes, but on the list of sins I rate that and those Patrick mentions less that those who post large quantities of stuff like code and output and more especially those who reply and include it, over and over again. That is every bit as much defocusing as 'topic evolution', which is often quite logical, and, as John demonstrated, avoids that accumulation. -- A: Yes. > Q: Are you sure? >> A: Because it reverses the logical flow of conversation. >>> Q: Why is top posting frowned upon? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
