IF you are certain that they are physically connected from the mb, check your cmos settings. - -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFHh8gpClSjbQz1U5oRAtbxAJ9f+AXnlTcbcP9HyUFApENUka11nQCfQLOY 4VW96EwgsjCgj6a9QNhhW0I= =Ip8J -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
Yes my headphones are physically connected. And i don't have to make any change in cmos setting... i was using this plugs in Ubuntu Guty, 3 days ago before migrating tu OpenSuSe. Any other tip? Maybe some module to load in modprobe.conf? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yes my headphones are physically connected.
I did not mean the headphones, the ports. But the statements below demonstrate connection.

I do not know. I use the rear ports on my box and have surround sound that appears to work properly. I didn't have to make any changes or "special" settings or manually load other drivers/modules. - -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFHh8xpClSjbQz1U5oRAl6eAJ9BQby4HAz2+u27mN3EY9KX4atn+wCfbrlY ULUt+HMSU+V4DBEjeIXECes= =X+U3 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Are the PLUGS physically connected between the front of the chassis and the sound card or MB?
Any other tip? Maybe some module to load in modprobe.conf?

This may sound stupid, but did you already see if the front plugs are really connected to the motherboard? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
