Hi list In windows xp I use NetMonitor to monitor download speed and usage to ensure I do not exceed the BT imposed limit. Is there a similar graphical ap in Linux that runs under KDE? Thanks in anticipation Kelvin

KNemo is good. I use 9.1 Pro, and it's not included in that distribution. I had to get an RPM from the 'Net. Probably I used <http://rpm.pbone.net/> to find it (the RPM).

Thanks Randall Found it and installed it, I have tried to get it running using as instructed using Control Center -> KDE Components -> Service Manager. It is shown under Start Up services as not running and attempting to start it does not produce any apparent results. Any Thoughts? Regards Kelvin

Not really. I didn't have any such troubles. But then, I don't remember having to do anything in the Service Manager section. Did you configure KNemo itself? It is "Network Monitor" in the "Internet & Network" section (of the Control Center). You must configure the interface(s) you want to monitor. Once you do that, the system tray icon should appear. Perhaps the necessary service will start automatically when you do that.
