You might get into some trouble here - at least if you want to run X-windows on it. The problem is that some Permedia 2 cards don't work with the Permedia X-server. The problem occurs only with cards that have a TI-Ramdac. Unfortunately for me, that was the exactly what was on my card. The absolutely best resolution I could manage to get, was a measly 640x480 in 16 colours (try netscape with that; YUCK!) Good luck Ole

Currently running NT with NTFS Want to dual boot with Linux.

What's the deal with Linux and NTFS?? I hear that only S.u.S.E supports NTFS? True?/False? I believe I have to partition my drive, and use a different file system for the Linux partition? What utilities can help me?

And finally, I want to load LinuxPPC on my G3 PowerMac. Is there any major differences between LinuxPPC and x86 Linux?
