[opensuse] Map network drive
I think this has been covered before but i can not find it in the archives. What i want to do is map a network drive at startup. Ideally, we have a 2003 domain and login scripts for users for the domain and would like to have linux run those but i don't think that is possible? If not, what is the easiest way to map users home drive on opensuse 11 x86 64 with kde 4.1.1? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

The script stuff isn't possible. But you might prived shell scripts from a Microsoft server and get them executed while login. Possible in general but IIRC not available from the YaST level. For the mount of a share you have different approaches. You might add this to /etc/fstab or /etc/samba/smbfstab or you try to utilize pam_mount. For the future we'd like to get pam_mount more dynamically to retrieve such information at login time from a directory.
