I visited my local stores trying to identify the available pcmcia nic so I can get some advice if someone have a previous experience with any of this: LINKSYS EtherFast Integrated NETWORK EVERYWHERE Fast Ethernet NP100 D-LINK DFE-670TXD D-LINK DFE-690TXD NETGEAR FA411 Of all these cards the only one which talks about linux on the box is the NETGEAR (a green box and it says to work under RH6.1 & 6.2) I will apreciate it if someone can contribute with any info regarding the previous adapters. I have found the pcmcia and linux page very helpful in the past. http://pcmcia-cs.sourceforge.net/ Hope this helps. ---- Marianne Taylor On Tuesday 28 August 2001 16:33, Ricardo Rodriguez wrote:

Hi Ricardo, Another place to check is the actual pcmcia database file on your system to see if the card is listed. I do not know if any of the cards you list do work, but would assume if they are not listed in this file then they definately will not work without a fair bit of mucking around. The file I am refering to is /etc/pcmcia/config Regards, Graham Smith _______________________________________ On 28-Aug-2001 Marianne Taylor wrote:
