For those who do not read opensuse-factory: makeSUSEdvd seems to have a problem when adding CD 6 or additional sources with the -a option. When you just use CD 1-5, all should be well. What I get is not an error with makeSUSEdvd, as it does what it should do. I can just not install, because after the boot and language choice, it asks to enter a specific CD. Working on it. houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. Sie ist das Kostbarste, was wir haben, denn es ist unwiederbringliche Lebenszeit. hi houghi, thanks for the info. I was thinking already that I'm to stupid to use your script in the right way, and was already looking in the list of opensuse-factory ( and I think it will be a good idea to subsribe to that list, too ... ). I don't know if the next question is already on the factory-list, but: what is this "cd 6" I've read already there ? ist that the "non-oss"-iso ? or is there something out in the wild I didn't know ? I hope you can solve the problem of asking for the CD (for me it is CD1 the installer asked for). but have to say "thanks" allso because your script did a great job all the time when we started with opensuse :) have a nice day ( and the rest of the list also !), besr reagrds, Tom aka JBScout

Sorry, CD6 is indeed the non-oss CD.

I hope I can solve it as well. The problem could come from the fact tat now there is some test being done. I just did not get any reply yet how this is done and how I can get around it. houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. Sie ist das Kostbarste, was wir haben, denn es ist unwiederbringliche Lebenszeit. Just real quick, as I have to go: I didn't use your script, just used the CD's and did what I always do to install, except that this time I added the no-oss CD to the installation. The catalog was added alright, I chose the packets for installation, and then the installation got stuck with the dialogue asking for CD1, although it was already inserted. I don't know if that is anyhow related to the problem you have with the makedvd-script, maybe it helps you find the glitch? Gruß Andreas

I have put version 27 online. The version worked for me. I have one person who tells it did not work for him. So if people would test it in a virtual manager, like vmware or parellels, I would be gratefull. https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=146800 houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. hey houghi, I didn't have had the time yesterday to test it out, but now there was the time. the problem is lost, the script is working and the cataloge will be "created" or "inserted" correctly, no more asking for CD1 :) thanks again for your work, best regards, Tom aka JBScout
