[oS-EN] Where is the Meta key in my keyboard?
Hi, Plasma makes use of the meta key. <https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/khelpcenter/fundamentals/kbd.html> I don't have that key. My laptop is this (lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 3): <https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/l14_l15_gen3_ug_linux.pdf> keyboard photo is on page 7 (except that mine is customized for Spain). Or this: <https://www.lenovo.com/medias/?context=bWFzdGVyfHJvb3R8MTI0MzUzfGltYWdlL3BuZ3xoOTAvaDQ2LzE0MTQ0MzY3ODg2MzY2LmpwZ3xhNmRmNDg5N2I3MTU1ZTFlYjZjNWVlYmRjNTAxMDRlNDhkODQ2MjYyYzFkM2EyNmNkOGUyMzA2MzcyNzllY2Rm> -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. I don't understand your question. It states in the article in your first link that Plasma refers to the Win key as the Meta key, and the image in your last link shows a Win key. I've had Left Win selected under 'Position of compose key' for a long time in Plasma and it works for me. Perhaps you have something else set somewhere which clashes and so it refuses to set the shortcut? gumb

That key is not meta, it raises the main or global menu. And I have mapped it to do "compose".

Dunno. I will play with that setting again. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from openSUSE 15.5 (Laicolasse))

Should be the Windows Key: https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/khelpcenter/fundamentals/kbd.html
