[opensuse] looking at the available widgets when adding widget to panel in KDE4
Hello: Still openSUSE 13.1 with KDE4. I would like to add widgets to the panel (add widget). The user interface is set to Hungarian and I don't have a clue what the widget's name is in Hungarian, so I can't search for it. I would like to find it by looking at all the available widgets by paging or scrolling the widget line but couldn't find out how to. Any idea? By the way it is really hard to find where to click to enable the "add widget" option when the panel/task bar is full of applications. Always the application's or system tray's setting options are shown. Thanks, Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Can't help with the Hungarian (Why?) Ir you right click the clock in the tray, the bottom option will be unlock widgets (If widgets are already unlocked, the bottom option will be "Panel Options and have a ">" sign to see a sub-menu. Click that > sign The options there are (top to bottom) Add Widget Add Panel Lock Widgets Panel Settings Remove this panel (don't ever do that) Welect Add Widget top. Bar shows up with one button on top that says Categories Select Categories and System Information is third from bottom Then use the scrollbar at the bottom to slide left and right to find the widgets you want. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Welect Add Widget top.

I did the same.
Then use the scrollbar at the bottom to slide left and right to find the widgets you want.
Ah, there's a scroll bar there. This is exactly what I looked for. (In my theme the scrollbar is so pale that I did not notice it previously.) Thanks! Istvan
