ppp callback: SuSE 7.1 to NT-RAS compatible access router
Hi everybody! I have a small ZyXEL router set up to accept incoming analog and ISDN calls, routing them to a LAN. It supports RAS-like ppp callback. Thus, I can make calls and receive callbacks on a win98, using normal "dialup networking". Now, I would like to do it from Linux. I already can make normal calls (I did it with wvdial, kinternet and Kppp programs, all OK), but when I set up callback feature on the router, my dial-up programs don't know how to accept incoming callback that follows the initial call. I've seen solutions with some chat scripts, but it did not work for me. May be I did it wrong, probably I need to change something in these scripts, which I don't know how... So, can anyone help with something I can apply on my SuSE 7.1, kernel 2.4 ? My pppd is "out of the box", I can not tell the version. TIA! cikasole
