[opensuse] configuring squirrelmail on 13.1
Hello :-) I try to configure squirrelmail on openSUSE 13.1 I could do that some years ago on 11.4. Squirrel is available from yast, so no install problems, and it runs. But, when login ad user, I get the famous "Could not create initial preference file! /home/data/squirrelmail/data/ should be writable by the user wwwrun" I already setup the correct ownership and permissions. the default folders (in /var/local/...) do not exist at install time, so yast do not care of them. I already tried all I found in http://squirrelmail.org/docs/admin/admin-3.html#ss3.1 is there a special apache2 option? data and attach folders have to be outside web server usual scope (not in httpd) I think I read about dovecot, here (but had no problem with it) but squirrel? thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
