what is "packet writing"?? At least, cdrecord supports writing to CD-RW's, it might be worth to look up the manpage. earch for CD-RW to hit the term. The cdrecord program that came with SuSE 6.1 (Cdrecord release 1.6.1) had experimental packet writing support. I don't know if this has come out of the experimental stage since then. It may or may not have. There shouldn't be any difference between writing to CD-R and CD-RW, it's just that one can be erased again... Some one please correct me if I'm wrong ;-) Hope that helps, Chris -- __ _ -o)/ / (_)__ __ ____ __ Chris Reeves /\\ /__/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / ICQ# 22219005 _\_v __/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
