[opensuse] KTorrent, a question
During the use of KTorrent I am confronted with an information about seeders and leechers. In my actual case it informs me that there are 8 seeders and 1 leecher. That information is clear. But what does the figure behind the 8 and 1 in parenthesis mean. 8 (42) and 1 (32). Looked on the web, looked for man pages, info pages and a handbook, all not existing without finding an answer. -- Linux User 183145 using a Pentium III , powered by openSUSE 11.2 (i586) Kernel: 2.6.31.12-0.1-desktop KDE Development Platform: 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1) "release 225" 23:57pm up 14:31, 3 users, load average: 2.53, 1.49, 0.83 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

8 (42) means out of 42 available seeders that have a 100% of the data you are connected to 8 of them. 1 (32) means that out of 32 leechers you are currently seeding to one. Dean -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Thanks for that Excellent info. This kind of stuff is often hard to find. I've often wondered about some of the displayed info. Sometimes I think torrent clients obsess with too much detail with is if little value in daily use. For your average user, it would be nice to have a simple layout with details available by right clicking any stream. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

iirc, kget has a very basic UI unless you go to an advanced view. Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
