[SLE] Beyond The Call Of Duty: sendmail
I know this is a SuSE mailing list and this question should be aimed at a more specific list - but I know you lot are more than capable of answering this. I am amongst the multitude who are employed in a company with NT Server and MS Exchange for email. I am doing my best to infiltrate the situation with Linux - believe me, this company never saw me coming with this one! Our emails are sent in the Form: Kevin Jackson To send them localy around the company. I.e., there is no "visible" domain. Exchange handles this as the first point of call. What I need is to be able to send email from my Linux box to this Exchange server. At the moment, sendmail (whatever you may think of it!) is handling email to users accounts on Linux - at the moment a relatively few of our Admins accounts. If I try to send email outside of Linux I get the infamous undeliverable messages. Is there a way of sending email to, say, "Kevin Jackson" from my Linux box to this Exhange server? This Exchange server also handles our external mail (as can be seen from the headers from this email). If I can get this working, then it can be a great asset to this company. Oh, and a last point - I wonder how many will mention qmail? :o) Kevin Jackson -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
