Is there a better MSN client for Linux/SUSE than aMSN? My users are looking for something more up to date, closer to the Windows client if you like, able to accept winks and webcam invites etc. What is everyone else using? Ideally it will be a standalone client, rather than one-for-all like Gaim. Maccy

Have you tried the CVS version of aMSN? I don't know about winks, but it has webcam support. -Paul
There are several, I think KMess is probably the closest to windows. However, Gaim and Kopete are both good and have the advantage they they support many different protocols, i.e. ICQ, MSN, AOL etc..... Benj.. On Wednesday 26 October 2005 14:02, Maccy wrote:

Mercury: www.mercury.to It is not open source and it's written in Java but it has all the options that are missing other programs like amsn or kopete. -- Raúl Moratalla http://raulmoratalla.blogspot.com Linux 2.6.11.4-21.9-default #1 Fri Aug 19 11:58:59 UTC 2005 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux
