It seems that your URL path is wrong. there is no media.1. Try "http://packman.iu-bremen.de/suse/10.0/" and then select.

Mine is right the original posters is wrong... But I am sure media.1 was there last night..?! I have been trying get Suse 10 ready for roll-out tomorrow morning and can get the last package I need of the site. Cheers Chadley

This is -not- setup as a YaST source yet. It is setup for a different/newer install source. Kind of like how apt-get uses a different structure than yast-source. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998

I know that. We've had to discussions here......"updates" of 10.0 and the multimedia files not included. For upgrades the address I posted works, for packman - Yast doesn't....just "pick and choose." I haven't had much sleep for the past few days, so MAY have thought someone was asking about updating 10.0 when they weren't. ;)

The maintainer must have taken away the config for using YaST as it was there before. Also 10.1 will have a new package system using Smart. Perhaps that is what will be used in the future. Packman for 10.0 is setup to use the Smart package manager.

They haven't been on packman for quite some time. What is on Packman are instructions on how to obtain the routines and to install them.

To wrap this all up, the missing YaST configuration / definition files have been restored and the Packman repository is once again accessible via YaST "Source Management" (formerly "Install & Remove" prior to SuSE Linux 10.0).
