Re: [SLE] Everybuddy for Dummies
I'm not using everybuddy but as it is with the distribution, it must install with no problem with yast. If it is for msn, jmsn at http://jmsn.sourceforge.net/ is working very well. You can do file transfert with it., i don't think at everybuddy can do that with msn. Dominique Michel

OK. I am apparently the dummy, but I desperately need Everybuddy.
Is there anyone out there successfully running the current version of Everybuddy under SuSE 8.0?
Can someone either send me the dependencies or provide paint-by-number-instructions as to how I may acquire and load them, please?
I have wasted hours here at the office trying to make this happen without joy. I will have to switch back to M$ Windows if I don't get this done within the next day or two ... a fate worse than startling a skunk in the dark.

It would be very wise of you to say exactly what part of everybuddy you need: AOL, MSN, Jabber? What is in the current version of everybuddy that's not in the version on the 8.0 CDs that you must have? ---------------------------------------------------- Jonathan Wilson System Administrator Cedar Creek Software http://www.cedarcreeksoftware.com
