[opensuse] magnifier-function for low-vision handicapted person?
Hi On your website I have read that there is a successful solution for Linux-users who are blind, e.g. SuSE Blinux. I have got a handicap with my eyes (low vision) and I use the enlargement/magnifier-software «ZoomText » on Windows-Vista. My question for you is the following : Is there a Opensource-Software with magnifier-function for Linux-users with low-vision-handicap as well ? I would like to work with Linux. But the software I have mentioned can not be installed on the Linux-system. That is the reason why we tried to install the OpenSource-Software Gnopernicos on a computer with linux-system and with the pre-installed OpenSuSE.11.2 software. It did not work well. After some tests it did not work at all. I would be pleased if you could answer quickly! Thanks a lot! Khaled I also am afflicted. There is an application called Kmag which I have been using on SuSE for many years. It is very configurable, ie: magnification level, full screen partial screen, etc. etc. It may already be installed. If not, install it with zypper or Yast. It works very well.
