not so much how to install a package, that seems pretty simple & straightforward to me--once the relevant & needed repo's are enabled. when i wanted to show somebody here where to find the appropriate repos, not just the URL, but a page explaining about them, i had to search around for a while. for some reason, the link titled "Package Repositories" on the download page ("Get It") points to the _external_ package repositories <http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories> instead of the basic repos <http://en.opensuse.org/Package_Repositories> i find that confusing. -- phani. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Searchign with google for yast install software brings you to http://en.opensuse.org/YaST_Software_Management and a few others, so there are already plenty of sites that explain how to do this.
