[opensuse] OpenSuse 11.0Beta2 partitioner problem
I got Beta2 installed on my PC which also has WinXP and Suse10.2 64Bit installed. At the end of my hdd I had about 100GB free and created a 30GB root partition for Beta2 there. The problem is that the Yast partition tool could not detect my encrypted /home partition from Suse10.2 64Bit. It called it "unknown filesystem". Is it not possible to import/convert that encrypted partition and use it with OpenSuse 11.0? The behavior of the bootloader is also strange to me. Before installing Beta2 I had a grub menu consisting of "Suse10.2", "Windows" and a "Suse10.2 failsave" entry. Now I have an additional boot menu before the old one. So I can choose between "Suse 11.0", "Windows", "Suse 11.0 failsave" and "Suse10.2", which leads me to the old boot menu. So I have to select "Suse10.2" twice to start my old system. regards Michael -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
