rcnameservice restart or /etc/init.d/nameservice restart

Install the package findutils-locate -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogical, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A. P. J.

In SuSE, this translate to: rcnamed restart or /etc/rc.d/named restart

locate is not installed by default anymore- too many newbies complained about machine slowdown at midnight. The package to install is findutils-locate. Charles -- The nice thing about Windows is - It does not just crash, it displays a dialog box and lets you press 'OK' first. (Arno Schaefer's .sig)
