Has there ever been any discussion about breaking the list into release-specific lists? I'm new here. Forgive me if this is a flame-inducing subject. I'm just thinking it would help lower the number of messages per day that one needs to read in order to keep up with the list in general. I tend to keep all my machines at the same OS level, but I could see how some people would keep a rolling list, and may not want to subscribe to multiple lists. I've seen post for versoins other than what I use (8.1), that have helped me with problems i've had. sometimes just a hint, or a link that leads to a new answer, but they're there. plus i'm paying particular attention to the 8.2 talk, as i wish to know the problems as soon as possible, for when I upgrade Joe - -- SuSE Linux 8.1 (i386) | Kernel 2.4.19-4GB / i686 ~ 10:45am up 6 days, 2:25, 6 users, load average: 0.51, 0.41, 0.38 Wear a gun to someone else's house, you're saying, 'I'll defend this home as if it were my own.'
