ethernet connection betweeen xp and linux
I want to connect an xp machine (Laptop) and a linux box running 7.3 through their ethernet cards...I tried with yast but I could not make anything work.. Could somebody give me some pointers as to how to make such a connection work off-list if he so wishes. Thank's in advance! Josef

Use a crossover cable, as a first step.
