That address only works for a specific person -- not you!!!!! I don't know what mailer you're using, but there are two methods you can use: 1. View the FULL headers of any forum message, which should provide an unsubscription address that you can click on and that should work for you. (Viewing the full text of a forum message should also reveal it.) 2. If you're having trouble getting the full headers, send an empty message to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com. Then follow the instructions there for unsubscribing. Paul

You really don't need the extra stuff there. Just send a mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com That address works for everyone, assuming it is sent from the address you want to unsubscribe.

Bingo!! Now what we need is an AI agent that scans all posts, picks out those that indicate someone is having trouble unsubscribing, and automatically mails them a message with that advice. Paul

I know when I have unsubscribed in the past I have continued to get mail for 48 hours. I have unsubscribed using the info at the bottom of the emails. It does work because I have unsubcribed at least 4 times. The only thing you can do to cope with the delay it is to make sure the email address you use for lists like this is one of your "other" email addresses. That will avoid your mailbox getting swamped. So here's a *real* question for the assembled gurus. Why do different people who seem to know how to unsubscribe have such different results? If someone simply doesn't know how to unsubscribe, they'll never be unsubscribed instead of being unsubscribed after a long delay. My own experience is that subscribe/unsubscribe rarely takes more than a minute or two. Paul

Mine too. I just tried it and I was unsubscribed with relatively little delay. I suspect it's one of two things: either they're simply ignoring the message that they're supposed to be replying to, or they have some weird email client that does funny things to the reply so ezmlm can't easily handle it
