[SLE] mount: RPC: Program not registered
I've just two machines on a lan. One is a dialup to my ISP conection. The other uses the first as an internet conection via ip masquerading. Both machines exportable directories have been entered in the others /etc/exports. rpc portmapper daemon is running on both machines. When I try to mount one or the other with "mount -t nfs host:/remote/path /local/path I get the error "mount: RPC: Program not registered" Any clues? -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

Make sure that mountd and nfsd are also running. Victor -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
