Suddenly I've started to get the following message on bootup: Kernel panic: aic7xxx: Unknown REQINIT message type In swapper task - not syncing At that point the boot sequence hangs. I haven't changed my Linux configuration (SuSE 5.2) at all, and I have no idea what could have caused this to start. I dual boot this machine with Windows NT; I can boot to NT just fine, so I don't think there is a problem with the hardware. Please help! Prismatic Booger Braden N.
