[opensuse] leap15.0: zypper ps now always shows one entry for sddm running process
inside a cleanly booted system, zypper ps would never show me any entries in the past. now with the upgrade to leap 15.0, zypper ps on a freshly booted system, shows one line for some sddm and a file with a hash in its name. is this a bug or a weird upgrade mess leftover? I have seen this on two systems so far. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

zypper is dumb and just checks whether process keeps open some deleted file. Most likely sddm creates temporary file; opening file and deleting is well known technique to ensure file is removed even if process crashed. I have seen for month. Nothing to worry about. After awhile, some minutes, it disappears. -- fr.gr. member openSUSE Freek de Kruijf -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
