Shot in the dark, but maybe I'll hit something. Take a look in ~/.kde/share/applnk and see if you see something there. I notice that some things I have installed end up with an entry here and show up in the menu.

BINGO! Good shootin'. <wink> found something called kaffeine_part.desktop Pulled it from the folder where found into a temp folder and viola! gone from the menu... OK, that worked for me too. But.... 1) Now that I have kaffeine_part.desktop pulled out of ~/.kde/share/applnk what do I do with it? At the moment it's sitting on my desktop. 2) Can I delete kaffeine_part.desktop? 3) Or must I put it somewhere else and, if yes, where? Thanks! ;o) Gil
