[opensuse] Opensuse 11.1 beta4 missing image view from konqueror and dolphin
I used to be able to browse my photos with the "image view" in konqueror. With 11.1 (and all the dolphin and konqueror plugins in yast installed) I no longer have a vews-> image view menu selection. So how do we browse photos with this dist? wcn -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Do you mean previews? You can enable previews via a button in the toolbar and change their size via the settings. In KDE 4.2 it will be possible via a slider at the bottom of the window. If you mean that gwenview was shown as part of konqueror, just open the picture in gwenview and you can use it to browse your images. Ah, I found Guenview. Its awfull.. there is no way to use a tree to display the file structure! It uses that tired old "folder" icon as a metaphor for a file system dir. There is just nothing in either Guenview, Dolphin or the version of konqueror shipped with 11.1 that meets or exceeds the previous functionality. blech I think I'm a long way from upgrading for real... wcn Sven Burmeister wrote:
