Err, curious, how did you get this statistic, using which program? I assume you "process" the whole July mails using something? Regards, Verdi On Tuesday 20 August 2002 20:06, Togan Muftuoglu wrote:

Just one thing to say. THANKS to all of them, i'm sure learning linux wouldn't be so nice if they weren't backing up. I read the list all the time, and is practically my own first reliable linux resource. Greetings Oxiel. El mar, 20-08-2002 a las 15:52, Togan Muftuoglu escribió:

Actually, I'm surprised to see Ben so far down the list. Maybe he wasn't so chatty this month. I find these stats intertesting, but I fear they will lead us down a sinister path; people overposting just to try and make it into the Top 10. I hope it won't be so. Bye for now, Stuart. <snip> ***** People who have written most messages: +----+-----Author------------------------------------+-Msg-+-Percent-+ | 1 | andjoh@cicada.linux-site.net | 89 | 4.23 % | | 2 | zentara@zentara.net | 47 | 2.23 % | | 3 | ckm@suse.com | 46 | 2.19 % | | 4 | toganm@dinamizm.com | 46 | 2.19 % | | 5 | php@nickselby.com | 44 | 2.09 % | | 6 | ben@whack.org | 40 | 1.90 % | | 7 | fountai@hursley.ibm.com | 37 | 1.76 % | | 8 | art_fore@3mts.com | 35 | 1.66 % | | 9 | wolfi_z@gmx.net | 32 | 1.52 % | | 10 | cabernet@internode.on.net | 31 | 1.47 % | +----+-----------------------------------------------+-----+---------+ | | other |1657 | 78.75 % | +----+-----------------------------------------------+-----+---------+ </snip>

------------------------------- Well, my thoughts are that I am glad to have had you around to help so many of us on the list! Don't know about the rest of you, but Anders has been a pretty important asset to the SuSE list. Still can't believe SuSE hasn't called him to hire him on, since he is out of work now and available. Some things just can't be explained I guess. ;o) Patrick -- --- KMail v1.4.3 --- SuSE Linux Pro v8.0 --- Amiga, SuSE Linux, PC Sales & Service Magic Page Products
