mount: /dev/sda4: unknown device
When I click on the KDE zip icon in order to mount my zip drive using 7.2 I get the message 'unknown device'. My fstab says that /dev/sda4 is to be mounted on /mnt/usbzip. Anyone have any clues? Thanks,

But... it is scsi or it is usb?? Sorry if the question looks fool:-) If it is really scsi, your problem is that the kernel does not reconize the device (ie, the correct module is not loaded). For example, I have a SCSI cd-rw. At start up, it's not reconized by my kernel because I do now load the aic7xxx module at boot time. I need to "modprobe aic7xxx" to make it be reconized and work.
