I haven't been able to figure this out yet, however, here at work with an UPGRADE I did from 6.3 to 6.4, AND installed StarOffice 5.2, the installation found the 1.1.7 runtime java from the 6.4 distro. just fine. However, at home, where I installed an new hard drive then installed 6.4, SO can't find a valid runtime java to use!! Documentation with S.O. 5.2 states that jre1.1.8 should be installed. I've looked "high and low" on SuSE's site(s) and Sun, and can't find it! Does anyone have a clue where to get it or fix the problem?
