Messing last night with Xfce 3.4.2, I changed the colors used on menus and widgets. Today I found out Netscape colors and other X apps still using that colors, and it seems that the font used for menus changed also. I dig for a while on $HOME rc files wandering for a configuration file with those settings... no luck. Are you running KDE? Check KControl, Desktop, Style, and uncheck `Apply KDE colors to other applications' or something to that effect. -- -=|JP|=- "Why, oh, why didn't I take the blue pill?" Hi Here's the light :). when you installed xfce you gave the command xfce_setup. this changes a few files including .Xdefaults, .gtkrc, etc.... and saves a backup in $HOME/.xfce dir. you can try to restore the original looks with th command xfce_remove (you should do that everytime you want out of xfce) or you can copy them manually.
