Trying to sort this out remotely via telephone, so excuse some of the slightly scant details, but: Hardware: Typhoon Black 256MB mp3 player Software: SuSE 9.0 Pro Aim: To mount the drive to copy mp3s over. dmesg reports that the device is not accepting a new address. /var/log/messages indicates the same Tried modprobing the usb-storage driver which worked (as in it inserted cleanly) but the mp3 player is not being picked up still. I have done a precursory google and can't seem to find the right search term for a hit on this one. Any thoughts on where I should proceed? Please bear in mind that this is being done via telephone.
