Hello, everyone. I just tried a couple of times to install 9.0 on a spare HP Netserver LC3 I have here. The two 9GB hard drives are mirrored via the NetRAID 3si card. I understand this card is an LSI MegaRAID 438 card, and as such have tried using the megaraid2 driver. The installation goes OK, although I had to manually select the RAID driver as it wasn't autodetected. Partitioning seems to go OK, and the packages all install, but after the first boot, there's a kernel panic. I don't see the RAID driver being loaded, and the panic occurs as the system fails to mount / from sda2. Has anyone had success with this setup ? I have an identical machine that I plan to install SLOX4.1 onto this week, and this problem concerns me somewhat. I bought the 3si card as it was the only HP RAID card that shows up in the SuSE hardware database, and it shows as being fully supported. Bye for now, Stuart.
