So, check the config file to see as which user apache is running. And see what permissions are set for the directory in which your pages are. Sunny

Most likely, there is nothing there? Create an "index.html" file. Peter -- the pink cardinal ate the pink cardinal

Sorry for my ignorance but how and where should I create it? Thanks again Eduardo -- Eduardo A Nogueira, MD, PhD Professor of Medicine Director, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory University of Campinas School of Medicine Campinas, Sao Paulo Brazil

There should be a number of language dependent index.html files in /srv/www/htdocs, e.g index.html.en. If they exist, your problem is something different, perhaps a problem in /etc/apache2/httpd.conf. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
