Go to http://freshmeat.net and in the search box enter "firewall floppy" -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
Thanks, that was helpful. One quick question. Can we use it the same way as any firewall with a DMZ and widows machines on the LAN. zentara wrote:

SuSE comes with this capability in the distro. Or there are many other distro/versions. Or use iptables to set up your own. On (14/10/02 13:26), Linux Leo wrote:

Hi SuSE since version 6.2 has been able to do that "out-of-the-box". Just setup the Firewall-options, and that's it! Have a look at /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 if You have SuSE 8.x distro. One thing to remember if You want to use masquerading, is to set "IP_FORWARD=yes".. This is not very clearly documented, but it is needed with masquerading. Jaska.
