Handspring Visor and IDE-scsi tape drive interfering
I am trying to backup my Handspring Visor via USB. With SuSE 8.2 beta3, I see in syslog (and hear) the Seagate STT20000A IDE tape drive being accessed. And the backup fails. Below is the syslog entries: Apr 15 23:29:31 pogo kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:11.2-1, assigned address 12 Apr 15 23:29:31 pogo kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor / Palm 4.0 / Clié 4.x converter detected Apr 15 23:29:31 pogo kernel: visor.c: Handspring Visor / Palm 4.0 / Clié 4.x: Number of ports: 2 Apr 15 23:29:31 pogo kernel: visor.c: Handspring Visor / Palm 4.0 / Clié 4.x: port 1, is for Generic use and is bound to ttyUSB0 Apr 15 23:29:31 pogo kernel: visor.c: Handspring Visor / Palm 4.0 / Clié 4.x: port 2, is for HotSync use and is bound to ttyUSB1 Apr 15 23:29:31 pogo kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor / Palm 4.0 / Clié 4.x converter now attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs) Apr 15 23:29:31 pogo kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor / Palm 4.0 / Clié 4.x converter now attached to ttyUSB1 (or usb/tts/1 for devfs) Apr 15 23:29:35 pogo kernel: st0: Error with sense data: Current st09:00: sns = 70 5 Apr 15 23:29:35 pogo kernel: ASC=20 ASCQ= 0 Apr 15 23:29:35 pogo kernel: Raw sense data:0x70 0x00 0x05 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x0a 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x20 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 Apr 15 23:29:58 pogo kernel: usb.c: USB disconnect on device 00:11.2-1 address 12 Apr 15 23:29:58 pogo kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor / Palm 4.0 / Clié 4.x converter now disconnected from ttyUSB0 Apr 15 23:29:58 pogo kernel: usbserial.c: Handspring Visor / Palm 4.0 / Clié 4.x converter now disconnected from ttyUSB1 Apr 15 23:30:02 pogo kernel: st0: Error with sense data: Current st09:00: sns = 70 5 Apr 15 23:30:02 pogo kernel: ASC=20 ASCQ= 0 Apr 15 23:30:02 pogo kernel: Raw sense data:0x70 0x00 0x05 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x0a 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x20 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 Anyone have any ideas?
