There is a control center in the menu, but there is nothing, as far as I remember, where you can adjust that. You get your country setup and that is it. Perhaps your country has a variant? What is the output of the command "locale" on a terminal? - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. Hi, i finally got it. There was something messed up with the locale and I fixed it by an entry in my .bashrc export LC_TIME="de_AT.UTF-8" Anyway there doesn't seem to be away to set this in Gnome. Thank you for your replies!! Best, Johannes On 2010-04-28 22:36, Carlos E. R. wrote:

Yes, there is. Set it in file ".i18n" :-) There is a bug that impeded this file from being read in gnome, but I reported it in a Bugzilla, and it got solved. If it wasn't pushed to an update, read Bug 567324 for the hack. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
