Hello Patrick, Looks like there is some version mismatch in the (python?) libraries used by YaST. The version of libzypp on ftp.suse.com is 1.1.0-1.11, while you seem to have 1.2.0-1.1. You can manually 'downgrade' to this version and try again. -- Regards, Aveek Bhattacharya M.Tech., Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

You win this round. Returning to 1.1.0-1.11@x86_64 has corrected the problem. tks, -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

libzypp 1.2.0-1 ftp-1.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/YaST:/tools returning to libzypp 1.1.0-1.11 has corrected the problem.
