[SuSE Linux] WIN '98 Keyboard
Hi All; I, at last, broke down and got myself a new keyboard. My old one was 6 years in use. The new one is quite nice, but I have 5 dead keys. The Win '95 key and FOUR win '98 keys. My question is how do I find out what command each key sends and how (if possible) to remap them to something usefull? For example I'd like to add the Brit # sign and the Yen. Is it possible to have one key give two letters, for example "DM" for German Marks? Lastly the new keyboard has the Euro sign on it. But when I use it all I get is a normal small e. Has anyone worked on this yet? TIA J I M ----------------------------------------- Jim Hatridge Germany hatridge@straubing.baynet.de Proud Linux User #88484 !!!!!!!!!!
