[opensuse] how to display kwrited messages in separate window in KDE4
I have (finally!) moved on from KDE3.5 to KDE4.4 (OpenSuse 11.3). I have a problem with notifications I receive from kwrited. Right now they show up in the notification popup, and that popup is too small, so I cannot read the message content most of the time. In KDE 3.5 KWrited usually opened a separate window and messages were written into it. I can almost replicate this by telling knotify4 to execute "kdialog --passivepopup %s 600". Then at least I can read the message. But if I am getting a series of notifications, for example, if a shutdown is coming up, I'd rather have them go to a single window than have 10 popups on my desktop. I can't quite figure out how to do it, though. I am guessing I should be able to do something with qdbus if I had a window already open (e.g., a konsole window), but I cannot figure out how to make it open the first time, and then not to open duplicates every time.
