Hello! About one year ago (that was on suse-9.0) I created a CA with TinyCA. I set the validity for the root-certificate to 10 years. Then I created several server certificates with validity of one year. Since then, I upgarded to suse-10.0 and the server certificates expired. Now I tried to create new server certificates. But TinyCA2 (which is bundeled in suse-10.0) refused to accept the CA passphrase. I tried several times, thus I can definitely disclaim that there was a typo. Then I copied the old TinyCA files from a backup onto the new suse-10.0 box and tried that. It accepted the passphrase on the first try and happily created the new server certificates. Any ideas what is broken here?
