Hi, I had to configure manually my XF86Config because Suse 8.2 (like any older version) is very problematic with my graphic card and monitor. I've got NVidia Geforce3 Ti 200 card and an 18.1" LCD monitor which I use in 1280x1024@60Hz. I've learned that I must use FrameBuffer Timing with incompatible configurations. But in XFree86.0.log, I've got the warning which says <

I've got NVidia Geforce3 Ti 200 card and an 18.1" LCD monitor which I use in 1280x1024@60Hz. I've learned that I must use FrameBuffer Timing with incompatible configurations. But in XFree86.0.log, I've got the warning which says <

Here is my problems: 1-) When I use the result of xmode -x 1280 -y 1024 -r 60 Modeline "1280x1024" 102.24 1280 1296 1552 1736 1024 1024 1033 1070 ^^^^^^ I can't do it work with this value, I made it 112...
2-) Fonts on my KDE menus or buttons are a little bit weird, maybe too sharp.. 3-) I can't boot with vga=795, it says immediatly <<you entered an invalid mode>>
Try changing the vga to "791" thats what mine is set to for my GF3 ti-200 HTH, repost and let us know your results (or lack of them, lol). Cheers, Curtis :)
Any help would be appreciated
