That is not a bad idea. I have never had problems with lockups while running NT on the same system for over a year. That doesn't mean that I am not experiencing a coincidental power fluctuation problem. I do notice that my monitor sometimes shimmers at 60 Hz. I believe this is due to dirty house current. Will something like an APC UPS clean up the wave form?
An APC or Best Power UPS will clean that up considerablyu, though 60hz is also pretty low. Can you do 70, or are you limited by your hardware? If you have dirty house current, you *need* to be on a decent UPS.
I'm still a bit suspicious of the mouse driver. My mouse it definitely acting flakey.
