Hi, I have tried to upgrade the xfree86 in my suse to the latest version but with continuing failings of all kind. Does anybody know a proper way to do it? How do I make sure the version installed during suse install is completely removed? For installation of the new version I follow the instruction on the xfree86 documentation. Are there any other enhancements to make it work on SuSE? (SuSE has often its own way of doing configuration of things, like the rc.config file) Will SaX2 be able to work with it? How come when doing configuration with SaX2 I see more options to choose from than doing a plain xf86config? That's a lot of questions, Iknow, but somebody must gave already done this. Cheers Filip
